La discriminación sufrida por los chuetas durante el nacional-catolicismo le permite contar la historia deesde una perspectiva de quienes fueron perseguidos por mantener incólume su fe.Los judíos son, sin duda, la identidad colectiva más antigua de los territorios hispánicos, ya que el cristianismo se propagó a través de las sinagogas y los musulmanes llegaron muchos siglos más tarde, en parte, de mano de los judíos. Sin embargo, la historiografía oficial cristiana los presenta como extranjeros, que sólo mediante su conversión al cristianismo adquieren el derecho de ciudadanía, puesto constantemente en entredicho ante su presunta práctica secreta de la religión judaica. En la España reaccionaria, "judío" era sinónimo de "enemigo del Estado". La Constitución de 1978 terminó con la discriminación por causas religiosas.Sangre judía quiere mover a la reflexión y contribuir con ello a superar el odio que una falsa interpretación de la doctrina del rabino Jesús de Nazaret ha instigado durante dos mil años contra un colectivo cuyo único delito ha sido mantener viva la religión que practicó y enseñó Jesucristo y por la cual murió ejecutado por los representantes del Imperio Romano.El autor incluye al final del libro más de tres mil apellidos suspectos de ascendencia judía, sacados de los censos de las juderías y de las listas de condenados por la Inquisición. El libro es excelente y el autor me ha parecido muy profesional. Contiene la lista de apellidos sefardíes "están sacados de las listas de penitenciados por el Santo Oficio, de los censos de las juderías y de otras fuentes..." Entendí que el autor sugiere que uno haga su propia investigación. Por consiguiente, he logrado construir mi Árbol Genealógico de mi familia basado en documentos recopilados, datos claves aportados por los más viejos de la familia (generalmente alguien en la familia tiene conocimiento de que se tiene origen judío) y fotos antiguas para comprobar mis raíces judías. Adicionalmente, consulte libros de Genealogia Hebrea, Enciclopedia Judia; y este libro "Sangre Judía de Pere Bonnin" es muy interesante; el cual me inspiró tremendamente para lograr mi propia investigación que comprueba la veracidad del autor en cuanto al tema. Se lo recomiendo a todas aquellas personas que están en la búsqueda de conocer más de sus raíces sefardíes. Ojalá el autor Pere Bonnin publique una versión de este libro traducido al Inglés; la cual le dará la oportunidad a todas las personas que no hablan el idioma español.
